Dune Full Movie Review 2021:
It is meant to be on the big screen. The visuals are fascinating,
the music enchanting, and the actors convincing.
This is an adaptation of the 1965 dune novel and covers about
half of the book.
I read a novel a long time ago, but I mostly know the Dune
universe from Command & Conquer in Emperor: Battle for Dune.
It is a vast universe with politics, religion, tribes and houses.
The film does an excellent job of putting you in this fantastic
setting without explaining too much of everything, but also
without feeling completely lost.

For a new person in the Dune universe, you can quickly
identify “good” and “bad” friends and follow the plots
without knowing all the different names mean.
But it has not been muted so that the words they recognize
feel like patrons.
It’s tough to get rid of this, but I think this film did it masterfully.
It is a combination of The Lord of the Rings of the Story and
Star Wars. You follow individuals in a large and complex world.
Most of the film takes place on a desert planet, so it needed a fantastic soundtrack to elevate the experience – and it does.
Hans Zimmer rejected Tenet to work in the Dunes, and I think
he made the right choice.
However, this is just “part 1”, as the movie’s beginning says, so
you know it’s not a perfect story.
I was ready to watch part 2 as soon as it ended, but I had to
wait. LOTR Ring Grant would be a meaningless film withou
t two towers and the king’s return to complete the story.
Together they are fantastic, alone is not enough. So is Dune
- It’s a great introduction, but it desperately needs part 2 to complete the story. And better be part 2!
